Updated March, 2010. RingCentral might be the new King of Internet Fax. With a Free 30 day trial and lots of neat signup features it gives MyFax and RapidFAX a run for their money. But are they really that good? Read the review. Have you used this service? Leave your comments. Ring Central is one of my favorite services and they now offer Internet Fax service in Canada.
RingCentral still offers just about the fullest set of features available for Internet Fax and now they have Fax Spam Blocking. It’s not perfect blocking but it does seem to help quite a bit.
news! Ring Central has a limited time offer with FREE rolover minutes. No one has ever offered this type of deal before. RingCentral is a privately held company that has been in the fax business since before eFax and almost as long as AT&T! Needless to say they know what they are doing. It is interesting to note that they are the only service with a Better Business Bureau badge on their site. This does NOT mean they are better than the other services just that they have agreed with the BBB to answer all complaints within 7 days or less. RingCenteral also has some pretty cool features. Keep reading to find out more. Click on any signup link on this page to get their special pricing and toll free offer.
Signup is relatively easy for RingCentral. They accept the following credit cards
Visa
Master Card
American Express
Special Sign Up Bonus: Get extra month of rollover minutes.
Log in to RingCentral
RingCentral uses standard login procedures and lets you send and receive faxes either using your email ID or through their very well thought out online interface. I’m not sure how good their faxing directly from Microsoft Office applications is but I promise to update the blog in the coming weeks with a report on this. This is not usually a critical feature in any case.
Number Coverage
NICE FEATURE: Ring Center al has one of the best number choosing systems I’ve seen. You can either choose a toll free number or local number but they SHOW you the numbers you can choose from OR you can choose a Vanity number! This is really cool.
RingCentral has very good local number coverage with most of the US covered. Note however in these days of constantly splitting area codes local numbers are not longer that important.
RingCentral offers FREE Toll Free numbers which can be a big advantage by eliminating the fear of call cost to folks sending you faxes. (please note: if you receive international faxes you MUST get a local number as Toll Free numbers do not work internationally EXCEPT for Canada.
Customer Service
These guys got it covered with Toll Free phone support and email support. No chat support that I noticed but they had excellent tutorials and knowledgebase.
Great service, wish it had a few more pages but the extra cost per page is reasonable
I’ve used this of about a month and it is great
