MetroFax is a privately held company and has been in business for about 10 years. I recently talked with Lynn Seely at MetroFax about the company. Lynn : It is extremely important to have great customer care. MetroFax is a step above our competitors because we do not outsource our support, we do not make it difficult to for trouble resolution or cancellation, and our up time is 99.9% of the time so an outage is rarely an issue. The main reason clients come to us is cost and when they call our office during our hours of support they reach someone. Also, I believe we go above and beyond to be honest with our clients and to make sure that they have a good understanding of how our service works.The Fax Report: Is your pricing competitive compared to other fax services? Lynn: The only plan we offer is $12.95 per month with 1000 pages included and 3 cents per page thereafter. We feel this appeals to the largest range of users. We do charge a signup fee of $9.95 with large discounts for multiple lines.The Fax Report: Do you offer Fax Spam filters?
Lynn: We will be releasing a new version of our web interface in a couple months and this will allow you to block faxes that you consider spam. The Fax Report: Is there anything else you’d like to tell the readers of The Fax Report? Lynn: MetroFax is a very ethical company and we are very cost effective. Our support is outstanding and we offer clients a more hands on approach to Internet Faxing--if they have issues we give them prompt trouble resolution. We have a high level of client retention and much of our business is built of referrals from current clients. It is very hard to find a company that offers you great service and a great price.
